2022 VALORANT Conquerors Championship opens for registration
NODWIN Gaming, South Asia’s leading esports company, has partnered with Riot Games and announced the registrations for VALORANT Conquerors Championship (VCC) 2022.
The event will provide a chance for South Asian VALORANT players to win a prize pool of USD 30,000, with winners taking home USD 15,000 and runner-up USD 7,500. The pool also includes a USD 1,500 reward for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.
The format of the championship will follow the same one as its first edition, held back in June 2021. Qualifying teams from a total of 5 sub-regions will advance to the VCC Playoffs. Then, the top two teams will go through Split 1 Asia Pacific (APAC) Challenger Playoffs. The winner will then get the chance to battle it out at the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2022 Masters Split 1.
VCC 2022 will run from the end of January to February, with the following details: Qualifiers round is from January 22 to February 13, Playoffs are from February 18 to 20, and Grand finals are from February 25 to 27.
A total of 7 qualifiers and 8 slots are available for the winning teams: India has 2 qualifiers with 2 slots, Pakistan and Afghanistan have 1 qualifier and 1 slot, Sri Lanka and the Maldives have 1 qualifier and 1 slot, Bangladesh has 1 qualifier and 1 slot, Nepal and Bhutan have 1 qualifier and 1 slot, and a 1 qualifier with 2 slots for a Wildcard.

On Twitter, NODWIN Gaming invites players to the battle of the throne with a 30-seconds-video teaser. The registration for VCC 2022 is available through its official website, vcc.nodwingaming.com.
“This is South Asia’s Trial by Fire. In a challenge open for all; Put on your best plays against top squads to conquer the throne of Valorant Conquerors Championship,” reads the tweet.
On the website, competing teams can choose which qualifier they’d like to join. All qualifiers will be done with the single-elimination method, while the playoffs will be done with double elimination.
Each sub-region qualifier registration schedule differs, so make sure to register the qualifier in your region before the date closes.
Registration for India Qualifier 1 is open from January 6 to 20, with the qualifier running from January 22 to 30. Meanwhile, registration for India Qualifier 2 is open from January 6 to 27, with the game running from January 29 to February 6.
Registration for Pakistan and Afghanistan Qualifiers is open from January 6 to 24. The qualifier round will run from January 26 through February 1. Bangladesh Qualifier is available for registration from January 6 to 26, with the round running from January 28 through February 2.
Sri Lanka and the Maldives Qualifier registration will take place from January 6 through 28, closely followed by the round from January 30 to February 3. While Nepal and Bhutan Qualifier registration is open from January 6 through February 1st, followed by the round running from February 3 to 8.
