The Playoffs Standings

The round 1 of the Playoffs came with some expected outcomes, as well as certain surprises.

OG calmly claimed a win against AS Monaco Gambit in round 1, but were immediately destroyed in round 2 in the match against Virtus.pro, which led them to the Lower Bracket.

Team Liquid faced a disappointing defeat against Tundra Esports, and when it seemed that things couldn’t get any worse for this team, they got paired against OG who were also dropped down into the Lower Bracket. This resulted in an interesting early match that nobody expected. OG ended up winning and sending Team Liquid home.

Vikin.gg pulled off a win against Team Nigma in the Upper Bracket round 1, but quickly lost to T1 in the follow-up match.

Alliance have shown incredible performance so far, taking two clean 2-0 wins and making it all the way to the Upper Bracket round 3. They beat Team Unique and then cleanly demolished Team Secret, which came as quite a shock.

Team Secret and Team Nigma, both of whom suffered losses in the Upper Bracket, faced off in the Lower Bracket and Team Nigma won with 2:1. Team Secret was one of the fan favorites for this event, but looks like they’ll be walking away quite early.

Overall, it’s been a blast watching these teams duke it out, and right now the situation is the following. Virtus.pro and Alliance are scheduled to play in round 3 to decide who will move into the Upper Bracket Final. The other round 3 match is between T1 and Quincy Crew.

Team Nigma and OG are fighting for survival in the Lower Bracket. This will be an epic clash with some incredible esports odds, so make sure to check GG.Bet review if you decide on placing a bet on this match.

Dota 2 ESL One Summer Predictions

If you’re looking to pick a team for this event, look no further. We believe Alliance and Virtus.pro are the two strongest picks when it comes to Dota 2 betting. Both are looking incredibly strong in this event, and each are capable of winning the grand prize.

Alliance

In terms of Dota 2 ESL One betting tips, we believe that Alliance is the top choice here. Not only have they won both of their matches in the Upper Bracket flawlessly, but they also finished first during the recent DreamLeague Season 15 DPC – Upper Division. They had to compete with the best teams in Europe, so getting ahead of the pack in this environment was a real accomplishment.

Alliance faces a tough challenge in round 3, but we’re confident they’ll be able to take a win here.

Virtus.pro

We expect Virtus.pro to make it to the Grand Finals regardless of the outcome of their next match against Alliance. If they lose to Alliance, they’ll more than likely come out of the Lower Bracket once again.

The Russian squad finished first in the ESL One DPC CIS – Upper Division with a perfect 7-0 score. They are our second pick for this event, and if they play their cards right they should make it to the Grand Finals along with Alliance, where we’ll have the final best-of-five clash between these two teams.

Of course, Dota 2 esports can be unpredictable and things can take a turn for the worse. But still, if you wish to do some live esports betting then this is a safe pick.
