Fortnite, Swarovski reveal FNCS Invitational 2022 trophy

Epic Games has collaborated with the Austrian jewelry giant Swarovski to build the trophy for the winner of the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) Invitational 2022.

The crystal trophy weighs 15 pounds and is 18 inches in height. It features “bespoke heliotrope crystals” that change color from blue to purple depending on the lighting. The cup is designed to mimic the FNCS shield and features the logo in the center. The tournament winners will have their names etched onto it.

“Throughout the trophy development phase, Swarovski created its photorealistic renderings using Unreal Engine, allowing for quick and comprehensive evaluation of the design. Working from Swarovski’s manufacturing headquarters in Wattens, Austria, the team used multiple innovations, including laser plotting, fine grinding, and polishing, to ensure a flawless result,” Epic Games said.

Players can obtain the in-game version of the trophy by visiting the Legends Landing at 3303-7480-5925. They can use the trophy as decoration on their island.

Viewers can get an FNCS logo Back Bling, an FNCS Spray and a new Loading Screen. Those who cannot watch the stream may be able to get the drops when they appear in the Item Shop in the future.

Epic Games releases FNCS skins

Epic Games has also released FNCS skins to celebrate the tournament. Players can buy the skins from the shop.
