LEC Summer 2022: How to watch, teams, schedule, more
After Royal Never Give Up was crowned champions at the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational, the League of Legends teams now refocus their attention on LEC Summer Split 2022 which will start on June 17.
European teams could not prevent the all-Asian Final at MSI 2022 as T1 faced off against RNG. The best position for European teams was when G2 Esports reached the semifinals before being defeated by T1.
LEC Summer will be a stepping stone for all teams to prepare themselves and to send a message to other teams in a race towards the 2022 League of Legends World Championship later this year.
Vitality, who were underwhelming in Spring, have to fight harder in LEC to get the best playoffs seed for them since they have to cover the Spring results with the upcoming Summer Split. The playoff seed is determined by both splits.
Other teams such as Fnatic, Misfits, and Rogue are looking forward to returning strongly alongside G2 Esports with a mission to redeem themselves for their disappointing performance at MSI.
