Europe Immortal Division Group Stage

The Dota 2 OMEGA League prize pool pales in comparison to what The International will award, but the amounts are not to be frowned upon. With a guaranteed prize pool of $600,000, there’ll be plenty of cash to go around anything be split among the top 16 teams. During the group stage, matches are played in a best-of-three and the 12 invited teams were already split into Groups A and B. The top two will advance to the upper bracket, the third will go to the lower bracket and the next two will go through play-ins.

OMEGA League 2020

Team Secret is the favorite to win the event with odds of 17/20 and it will play in Group B, alongside Team Liquid which is priced at 13/2. Nigma and Evil Geniuses are expected to advance from Group A, while the odds of them winning the tournament currently stand at 4/1, respectively 5/1. Team Alliance and Virtus.Pro are among the dark horses and they will also play in different groups, so competition promises to be intense in both divisions.

Bet in Advance on Group Stage Matches

Just because there are still two more teams to join each group, doesn’t mean that you can’t bet on group stage matches. GG.bet has published the odds for the matches scheduled to start on August 14 and 2 PM UK time. Natus Vincere play the opening game in Group A against 5men that they are only slight favorites to prevail with odds of 3/4. The underdogs are priced at 11/10 to cause an upset and only 2/5 to cover the +1.5 Asian handicap and win a map. Identical odds are offered on Team Alliance to defeat Virtus.Pro, with the former being narrow favorites but far from certain of claiming victory.

Team Secret and Team Liquid will play one day later on August 15, in what looks like a lopsided match. Team Secret are credited with the first chance and odds of 3/20, whereas a bet on the underdogs will produce odds of 4/1. OG are also expected to win the match against Ninjas in Pyjamas without too much effort, and kickstart the tournament with a victory, just like Evil Geniuses in their match against 5men.
