Twitch Rivals announces creator series in Fortnite Zero build mode with $450,000 prize pool
It has been announced that Twitch Rivals launched a creator series, to be played in Fortnite Zero’s new build mode in which participants compete for a $450,000 prize pool. The series comprises two days of tournaments, spanning three different regions.
“In partnership with Twitch Rivals, we’re announcing the all new Twitch Rivals Creator Series: ft. Fortnite Zero Build, with a total of $450,000 up for grabs over the course of the event! Find more details on prize distribution further below,” Fortnite announced on their Epic Games website.

The tournaments for the series will be held on April 2 and 3 across three different regions, namely Europe, Latin America, North America. In each of the competitions, 33 teams comprising 3 members are expected to compete in a total of five matches of Fortnite Zero Build.
“Things are firing up with the Twitch Rivals Creator Series Kick-off event,” the announcement continued. “This invitational tournament will be played in Fortnite Zero Build. Creators in North America, Europe, and Latin America can battle for a share of a $100,000 prize pool available for each region.
“Tune in to the official English broadcast on April 2 and 3 to see top creators flex their skills in the new Fortnite Zero Build! Twitch Rivals will also be broadcasting in Portuguese and Spanish.”

Time: 1 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. CET
Prize Pool: $100,000 USD
2. Latin America
Date: April 2, 2022
Time: 6 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. BRT

3. North America
Date: April 3, 2022
Time: 5 p.m. EST
Prize Pool: $100,000 USD
The tournaments will be broadcast live each day on Twitch.

Twitch has also announced a collaboration with creators to host Fortnite: Zero Build tournaments, which will be held throughout all of April and part of May. Contestants will compete for a prize pool of $10,000 in every tournament. Fortnite has yet to announce the full list of the creators.
However, it will include Alixxa, NickEh30, Pgod, and Sommerset. Then, in the grand finals, the players will compete for an additional prize pool of $100,000.
“After the Kick-off event, participating creators in North America will have more chances to compete in the Twitch Rivals Creator Series playing Fortnite Zero Build, Creative, and more!” Fortnite further said.
“Some of your favorite creators will be hosting five additional tournaments throughout April and May, with each creator having their own $10,000 prize pool and custom-crafted format.”
