Xbox giving away ‘The Mandalorian’ limited edition gears to welcome Season 3
The Mandalorian premiered its third season on Disney+ this week, and in honor of the occasion, Microsoft is giving away a pair of special edition Xbox consoles. The consoles feature the show’s titular characters, Din Djarin, and baby Grogu.
Participants can obtain this extra-limited edition of Star Wars gaming gear by joining the Twitter competition in honor of the upcoming Season 3 premiere of The Mandalorian.
Din Djarin, the titular Mandalorian, is depicted on the larger Xbox Series X console, complete with his signature armor, while the alien baby Grogu is featured on the smaller Xbox Series S console, complete with his distinctive green and black coloring.
The bundle also contains a custom-made Grogu controller clothed in its little hoodie. According to Twitter posts, the Grogu-themed Xbox Series S is autographed by Pedro Pascal, Jon Favreau and show co-creator Dave Filoni.
From March 1 to May 11, The Mandalorian fans can participate by retweeting the Xbox official Sweepstakes post with the hashtag #TheMandalorianXboxSweepstakes. These sweepstakes are open to anyone in a region where Xbox is available.
Microsoft also offers fans to win a life-sized copy of Grogu’s hover pram. However, the Xbox Wire specifies that only U.S. account holders are eligible to win this human-sized pram combo.
These Pram XL Sweepstakes have the same game consoles, but they’re bundled with a massive Grogu pod, complete with LED lights, massage cushions and also holders for controllers and headphones.
The Pram Sweepstakes is open from March 16 through May 11, and the official rules, including the free entry option, can be found at Microsoft Rewards.
Mandalorian Sweepstakes requirements
To qualify for the Disney Mandalorian Season 3 Custom Console Sweepstakes, fans need to meet several requirements set by Microsoft and Disney.
Participants must be eighteen years or older and legal residents of any Xbox Live-supported country or region to enter the sweepstakes. Per official rules, this Xbox custom consoles sweepstakes contest is not valid in China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, the Region of Crimea, Russia or wherever else it’s prohibited by law.
Workers and directors of Microsoft Corporation, Disney affiliates, advertising agencies and individuals involved in the execution or administration of this Sweepstakes are prohibited from participating.
Twitter users can enter the sweepstakes by retweeting the official announcement made by @Xbox and including the hashtag #TheMandalorianXboxSweepstakes. One Sweepstakes entry will be awarded to each participant who fulfills this requirement.
During the Entry Period, each individual is only allowed one entry. The participant will be disqualified if it is found that they use any methods to get more than the allotted number of entries, including creating or using multiple/different accounts.
The rules also said that participants can only enter the Sweepstakes if their Twitter account is set to “public” or “unprotected.” The event’s prize claim instructions, including submission deadlines, will be sent to the prospective winner by a Twitter direct message 14 days after the end of the Entry Period.
The company will pick an alternate winner if the winner cannot be reached, is ineligible, fails to accept a reward or fails to return any forms. There will only be one winner, who will get an Xbox Series X and Series S console and controller featuring artwork from Season 3 of The Mandalorian, with an Approximate Retail Value of $499 and $299.
The lucky participant also will receive an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate three-month subscription worth $45 and a Grogu Personalized Controller Sleeve with a $10 value. This package has an estimated retail value of $853.
The winner is responsible for completing and submitting all necessary tax and prize claim forms by the deadline specified in their winning notification.
