Free Fire Pro League 2021 Winter officially opens for registration

The Free Fire Pro League 2021 Winter tournament (FFPL) has been announced as the year’s last competition following the conclusion of the Free Fire Winter Invitational 2021.

Registration opened yesterday, December 21. Players who want to register for the event must first play games in the Free Fire Cup (FFC) mode to advance to the league phase and compete against the famed 12 Indian teams who will receive a straight invite to the league phase. The tournament registration link will be available in the game until December 24. The first stage of the competition, FFC mode, will begin at 8:00 p.m. IST on the same day.

Registration guide

Firstly, launch the game since the registration process is conducted in the game. Next, to access the Free Fire lobby, click on the red cup symbol in the top-right corner of your screen. Clicking on the Free Fire Pro League link will display the match schedule, scores, progress, and other details about the tournament.

Click the “squad” button on the left to create or join a team. Fill out all the fields, such as team names, contacts, regions, and avatars. You will be able to invite squad members by using the “recruit and invite” option.

Additional information

– Players must be citizens of India or Nepal.

– In order to register, all team members must be Diamond I and Level 40, with a Rank Point of 2538 throughout the duration of the FFPL FC Qualifier. The top six teams from the shortlist will progress to the FFPL League Stage.

– A minimum of five players and a maximum of six players are required for one team.

– Each team will be allocated a total of ten tickets to use in the matching process. The team’s ultimate ranking will be determined by the top five scores from the ten rounds.

– To modify the lineup of your team, you must disband it first. However, teams that have used at least one ticket are not permitted to disband.

– In FFC, players are not permitted to be members of more than one team, whether as players or having more than one account.

FFPL 2021 Winter format

Teams will compete in three phases of the FFPL 2021 Winter: FFC, League Stage, and Grand Finals. The battles will follow the standard Battle Royale Squad structure. Each team will compete in three tough phases to become the FFPL 2021 Winter Champions, with powerful opponents who have previously shown themselves on India’s largest stage, the FFIC 2021 Fall.

The top six teams from the Open Qualifiers will advance to the League Stage via the Free Fire Cup (FFC). The top 12 teams from the recently concluded Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall will join these six teams.

The top 18 teams will be separated into three groups of six for the League Stage. Over the course of six League Days covering three weeks, each group will compete against the others in a round-robin format.

12 teams will qualify for the Grand Finals based on their points/ These teams will compete for a majority share of the 35 lakh INR prize pool. The top performers at FFPL 2021 Winter will also get an opportunity to compete at FFIC 2022 Spring.

The tournament will run through January 30, 2022, with a prize pool of 35 lakh INR.
