The 2019 Global StarCraft II League Code S group stages are open and it is now time for the most successful players to lock horns in the quarterfinals. Protoss players are underdogs in all these matches and in spite of three qualifying, the odds of having even one in the semifinals are slim. Three Terrans have also made it this far and only one starts with a second chance, although the matches are contested.

Bunny Seeks First Win Over Zergs at the GSL 2019
Bunny has caused one of the biggest upsets in the previous stage by defeating Maru and he will have to beat the odds once again. This time, he plays against Dark in the opening quarter final and Arcanebet only offers odds of 1/4 on the Zerg player to prevail. He has already played against plenty of Terrans players and was generally successful, but this is one of the toughest opponents so far. Punters who plan on backing the underdog can expect odds of 5/2 on Bunny to be the first to qualify in the semifinals.
Invincible Classic is Underdog against Rogue
Classic is yet to lose a series at the 2019 Global StarCraft II League Code S, but each of his victories were secured by the narrowest of margins. That’s why Rivalry doesn’t place a lot of hope on him to defeat Rogue and punters can expect odds as high as 2/1. His opponent is expected to join Dark in an all-Zerg semi final, after winning the only match against a Protoss adversary in the tournament. Punters who trust him to prevail are going to be paid at odds of 1/2, which are expected to drop as kickoff draws near.
Maru Starts as Favourite in the Match with Dear
Maru has barely qualified to the quarterfinals, in spite of starting the group stage and the main favourite. He is still widely regarded by bookmakers as the most likely player to win the tournament, so he is not surprisingly favourite in this match as well. Dear has returned to his winning ways and prevailed in all four matches played in the second group stage. Even so, when betting on this match at Pinnacle, punters can only expect odds of 13/20 on Maru and 6/5 on Dear.
TY Plays His First GSL Match against a Protoss
TY is the only player in the entire tournament to have won all the matches played so far, with a track record of 8-0. He will also play against a Protoss and just like his counterparts will start as a clear favourite for the semi finals. This is the last match played in the quarterfinals on March 30 and the odds are expected to drop if betting on the favourite. At the time of writing, we get odds of 7/10 on TY to defeat Trap, while the underdog is priced at 11/10 by GG.bet.
