2018 KSL Season 2 Decisive Group Stage Matches » Betting Predictions

We are just one match away from the 2018 Korea StarCraft League Season 2 playoffs, after the group winners were decided last week. Rain has won Group A after dropping a single match out of seven and he will be joined by Group B and D winners Mind and Last, with the same impressive record. Larva was the only group winner who needed to play ten games, as both his victories were 3-2.

All the matches in the round of 16 are best-of-five and the first were played mid-October. It is now time for the final matched of this stage, before the competition can move on to the playoffs. The ones who are eliminated in the group stage will receive consolation prize of more than $1800, but the big paychecks are reserved to the Top 8. Betway and Bet-at-home will cover all the matches played in the decisive rounds.

Korea-StarCraft-2-League

Light is the Big Favourite in Group A

Where and Light are currently tied for the second place with one victory each, but the latter was far more successful in the lost series. He swept Action and won a match against Rain, so it comes as no surprise that ArcaneBet credits him with the first chance and odds of 3/10. Where barely won the Zerg vs Zerg duel, but has a slightly better record against Karen players and the odds of 9/2 on his victory are tempting.

Mini and Soulkey Meet again in Group B

Soulkey has won the previous series against Mini by 3-2 and he hopes for a similar outcome when the two pro-players meet again. GG.bet offers odds of 1/2 on the Zerg player, even though he had to fight hard for his previous victory. Mini was unlucky to lose that series, but was able to come on top also in five matches against Killer. Now he is given odds of 2/1 to avenge the group stage defeat and advance.

Jaehoon and Sharp Battle in Group C Decider

Group C emerged as the most competitive of all four groups, with the first and last placed players separated by the narrowest of margins. Larva will play in the quarterfinals after winning both series by 3-2, whereas Movie was eliminated after losing twice by 2-3. Sharp and Jaehoon also won by the narrowest of margins and now the former is favourite with odds of 3/5. Punters who bet at Esportsbetting.com will probably like the odds of 8/5 offered on the underdog to prevail, given the tight nature of this contest.

Modesty and Leta Prepare for Tight Series

In the first series of games played in Group D, Modesty and Leta were evenly matched and the former prevailed by 3-2. He is once again favourite to win the decisive match, but this is likely to be a tight series as reflected by the odds offered by Rivalry . Modesty is priced by at 7/1, while a Leta win has odds of 3/2.
