Following E3 2022 cancellation, Summer Game Fest 2022 could be an alternative for gamers out there. The partners’ list this year has just been released and more than 30 companies, including some big names, have decided to join the fest.

What to expect

Two console giants Playstation and Xbox have been rumored to drop something big during the upcoming PlayStation State of Play and the Xbox + Bethesda Games Showcase. Fans could be hopeful about the Resident Evil 3 Remake at the Sony event later.

One comment on Geoff’s tweet could be another speculation that the Bloober Team could be announcing the remake of Silent Hill 2 in this event. Some thought that it would be the right occasion to reveal the project they are collaborating on together with Konami as the Poles also have their hands on the Layers of Fear saga third installment which is scheduled to release in 2022.

Meanwhile, fans have been expecting an update on Capcom’s Street Fighter 6. A new chapter could be expected from Capcom upon the release of the game. Will there be more surprises later?

Bandai Namco also has been working on One Piece: Odyssey, the RPG in development by ILCA.
