VALORANT releases Champions 2022 anthem, champions bundle, more
Just a few days before the tournament begins, Riot Games released the official anthem for VALORANT Champions 2022. Titled “Fire Again,” it is performed by American singer Ashnikko and features an animated music video.
The three-minute anthem music video begins with a few VALORANT Agents investigating the possibility of multiple realities.
Astra, Raze, Jett, and Chamber are first seen wandering around on their own, each exploring a different terrain.
They come to a halt when upon encountering an unknown threat. As the video progresses, the reality splits, and all alternate realities become visible.
The next phase features VALORANT pros navigating near-impossible situations one step at a time to achieve their ultimate goal of becoming VALORANT Champions.
Fire Again features famous pro players, such as Patryk “starxo” Kopczyński, Ana Beatriz “naxy” Araujo, Juan “NagZ” Pablo, Lopez Miranda, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, Jake “Boaster” Howlett, Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, Michaela “mimi” Lintrup, Melanie “meL” Capone, Benedict “Benkai” Tan, Koji “Laz” Ushida and Kim “stax” Gu-Taek.
Grabbitz, Ashnikko, and Slinger wrote the song. Fire Again can be streamed, downloaded, and purchased on Apple Music, Spotify, and Deezer.
The singer, Ashton Nicole Casey, better known as Ashnikko, is a 26-year-old American singer and rapper, best known for her collaboration with Baby Tate on the single “Stupid,” released in 2019.
Last year, VALORANT released “Die for You,” the game’s first official Champions anthem, featuring Grabbitz.

Riot also announced a new skin line and bundle, which will be available from August 23 to September 21. The company also confirmed that the tournament teams will receive 50 percent of the net proceeds.
The new VALORANT Champions bundle includes a butterfly knife melee that evolves every five kills, up to a maximum of 25 kills. A gold glowing outline will appear on the knife when a player has the most kills in the game.
“Celebrate Champions 2022 and support your favorite team with this limited edition bundle!” Riot said.
“The Champions 2022 Collection contains the Champions 2022 Phantom, Butterfly Knife, Trophy Card, Buddy, and Spray.”
The Champions 2022 anthem will play while inspecting it, along with a custom animation. With each kill, the Champions 2022 logo will also glow.
VALORANT Champions 2022
The upcoming VALORANT Champions Istanbul 2022 is the season’s third and final event. It is set to be the biggest VALORANT event of the year, with sixteen of the best VALORANT teams from around the world competing.
VALORANT Champions is the second VALORANT international tournament to accommodate a live audience after Masters Copenhagen in July.
Tickets will only be available electronically from September 9 to September 18, with no on-site pickup. To purchase a ticket, one must first register with Biletix. Only four tickets are available per event day.
The qualified teams competing in Champions 2022 are Optic Gaming, X-Set, 100 Thieves, Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, Team Liquid, Zeta Division, DRX, LOUD, Leviatan, KRU, Furia, Paper Rex, Xerxia, Boom Esports, and Edward Gaming.
VALORANT Champions 2022 group stages begin on August 31 and will last until September 13. The playoffs will take place from September 16 to September 18.
Twitch and YouTube will be the two platforms where fans will be able to stream the games. They can also earn rewards on both platforms by linking their VALORANT account.
